The Malbec cuvée awarded the bronze medal
The Creators
The story begins in 2016, between two friends who are passionate about wine and terroir: Christophe and Patrick. A dream, to create their own wines, wines with identity, without complexes, resulting from plot selections and single grape varieties. Christophe, globe-trotter at heart, passionate about wine, terroir and specialist in communication and marketing. Patrick, founder of a trendy coffeeshop brand in Marseille and a wine bar, in the Village Docks of Marseille.
Concept
To create accessible wines, modern, elegant, to enhance and promote “Vins de France”, to blend different types of terroirs, to select the best grape varieties and to offer a gourmet and contemporary range of wines. On the back of the bottle, the story of each chapter is illustrated in comic-strips on our website

Soil
Malbec also called Côt remains a confidential grape variety in the Languedoc. Yields are low but very qualitative for these 25 to 35 year old vines. These vines, are located :
- In the Languedoc appellation area on very hot soils of rolled pebbles. Their grapes give depth and colour to the wine.
- On the cool and deep soils of La Malepère in the most western region of the Languedoc. Grapes with aromas of small, acidic red berries bring their finesse and freshness.
Elaboration
The harvest is manual. The grapes are vinified in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature. The traditional maceration lasts 15 days. 10% of the volume is matured in new barrels in order to add complexity to the wine.
Tasting
With its ruby colour with red reflections, it is an elegant wine, with a spicy and liquorice nose and notes of red and black fruits. The palate is supple and well-structured with very present fruit aromas and fine tannins that provide elegant length.
